where do they get this stuff!?

the other day Kruise was sitting on the couch with me (which is very rare for him to sit at all,but it was one of those days) and he crawled over to me,pulled up my shirt and blew a raspberry,,he laughed histerically,then laid down and pulled his shirt up,so i blew a raspberry on his tummy,too,,we did that back and forth for prob 45 minutes cracking up the whole time,,he's such a funny little guy! then he crawls down in the floor,and blows a raspberry on Noah's cheek,,i love my boys!

AHH,,get him away!!

so we took Kruise to get his picture taken with Santa this weekend at Bass Pro Shop (they have this fun santa's workshop thing) ,and he was not happy about it! I stayed with Noah while Keith took him up to sit in his lap..he screamed as soon as santa got near him! the old man was so nice and patient with him,but he still wasn't having it! We ended up,sitting him in his lap,santa rang this bell thing he had on his shoulder,which got his attention,and gave them enough time to get a picture of him not freaking out (as much) before we had to pick him up,so we got our picture and hopefully no permanent damage was done!! :)

I want my Kruise

i miss him,,i really,really do,,it's not like I "see" him less.or I'm not home with him everyday,but I feel like we don't get to bond and interact as much since Noah's been born,,I have to keep up with the feedings,and keep Noah from getting attacked by Kruise,so I constantly feel like I'm holding him,which doesn't leave much room for cuddling and playing with my little man :( I try to make it a point to have "us" time everyday,where we cuddle and watch a cartoon,or play with his toys,and I like to be the one to give him his bath everynight so I get that little extra time in..it's just on days like today,when hubbys home,i nap,and nap,and nap,,,im just sooo tired by the weekend and it makes me sad I dont get to see my kruise -b..i woke up and he's asleep for his nap..boo.,,when he wakes up I think i'm going to take my two little boys on a date with mommy...

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING!?

we got the date for Noah's consultation appt today and we have to wait until,,JANUARY 21ST,,ughhhh!! Hopefully Keith can call up there and get something sooner!

today Noah had his 2 week check-up with the pediatrician.. last time we took him to the doctor,they were a little concerned about his ear canal being too small,,well,today was the first day that our actual pedi looked at it,and he discovered that his ear canal isn't even open. It just stops,there is no way he can hear out of it,explaining why he failed his hearing test both times,,he had a third scheduled,but our pedi recommended cancelling it,because he will fail,and referred us to our ear,nose,and throat doc at Vanderbilt (the same one we used for Kruise), so we're waiting for them to get back to us on when his appointment is,,We're hoping that a simple surgery can be done or maybe he'll tell us it will get better as he grows,,that would be awesome,,we're just praying our sweet little guy won't have to be partially deaf,,I know it could be worse,but all you want as a mom is for your kids to be healthy and happy,so when something like this happens,it's like a catastrophe you can't control..just pray for little Noah and that we only get good news!

On the brighter side,,after losing about a pound his first week,he is now more than his birth rate! He is 6 lbs 7 oz (the 5th percentile) he's so tiny! I know he'll catch up with his big bro in no time!

after the rough day we had,I was holding him, talking to him while he was actually awake and alert,and he looked in my eyes and gave me the BIGGEST cheesiest dimpled smile today! It was like he was saying, "don't worry mom!"

i bought new toothbrushes the other day,and upon opening them, discovered they are "mint scented",,why does my entire toothbrush need to smell like mint? i don't get it,,,
